I have a pair of Technics 1210 MkII. I want to change the phono and earth wires cos they are knackered! :o(
I've tried hunting for a full maintenance manual but can't find one.

Simple enough. You are going to have to buy the new cables aren't you so why not carefully disconnect the old ones (making notes what ends go where) and then take the cables that need replacing to any good electrical/radio outfit and just ask them to supply you, or make up, the same cables for you. Maplins are good for most cables, worth a try.
