about baseball thoughy i soppose let me look online......

here is one
One runner's safe, one runner's out,
Or so the ump has beckoned.
The one who's safe touched second first,
The one who's out, first second.

here is another one"
At
the
CRACK
of the bat
a l o n g drive

Foul!

here is another one that I accully made up
Caught

the high fly ball,
arches out above left field,
hangs there in the sky
outblazing the sun
while fifty thousand heads swings and cry
"Over the wall! Over the wall!"

then hold, fixed and dumb
as the ball drops
down and down, a dead bird
into a waiting glove

and there you have it: the song,
the flight, the perilous whisper of truth
or of love or possibly of faith

then the descent
and the end of the game.

hope that is good

Well, "Casey at the Bat" is obviously the most famous, but there are many of them.
