I am Indian. I have 10 years tourist visa for USA. I want to go to chicago for one week.

Ordinarily, you should be able to avail your 10 years valid Visa by taking along your old passport (where visa is stamped) alongwith the renewed one.
You can contact US Embassy in India for authentic clarification (since this doubt has come to your mind) and may also seek visa stamping in your renewed passport for the rest of the validity of your 10 yr Visa.
There should not be any hassle about that.

your visa is still good, but remember, it never guarantees admittance, just the right to apply at the border.

you don't need to. all you need to do is to show the visa in your old passport.
