Could easily be a hardware issue. Open the computer and check that everything is plugged in correctly. Those beeps mean something. Lets see if i can find the site where it shows the meaning. But sometimes a beep is due to ram. Either incorrect ram or its not plugged in correctly.

could be a number of things, hardwar conflict, virus etc, but usually if its 3 beeps and a pause, then 3 more beeps, it means that you internal battery needs to be replace, but to be on the safe side, I would take it to a computer shop and let a technician have a look at it.

Open lid of your computer and find memory slot. Pull memory stick from the slot and clean contact points onit and inside slot. Replace memory and start. This is only fail of memory during boot.

virus maybe. have you downloaded a program recently. that happened to mine. do you have windows xp? when you start it up, hit the f1 button a few times. that should send you to the "recovery" screen. try calling tech service for your computer, ask a friend.
