Drinking non-pasteurized honey & fresh lemon juice in warm water is supposed to work. It helps a voice before singing also. I think it works, I use it. And like the other girl said, drink lots & lots of water! Good luck with your cough and have a great day!

The thorough application of many hours of Daytime television that you would never openly admit to watching otherwise. Preferably while drinking chicken soup and plenty of water and all while wearing pyjamas.
Always makes me feel better.
Only other thing I use is Olbas Pastilles, which are all natural so don't mess with your insides so much and don't taste so chemical-y.

Peppermints or peppermint gum- the menthol helps and it isn't as nasty as cough drops. Drinking some water helps for me too.

After you make sure the cough isn't caused by anything (like pneumonia or asthma or something) keep drinking water. I don't know why, but it works for me.

Assuming you are otherwise in good health, just wait it out. Your body will take care of it.
