This one I really have a problem with. I'm descendant of a Micheau from France (Don't try to stalck me because the name has changed in the last 400 years) and I can't vote for France according to you? My whole entire community is for France (except for this one girl who's for England but it's kinda weird). I've been for France since I was 7 years old. Give me credit, please!

They don't hate Canadians, that comment wasn't towards us. We call is soccer because calling it American football while living in North America is as silly as calling it East Indian food while in India. Plus we have a double naming problem.
What I find weird is that there is only so many countries that speak English as a first language and a most of the countries in the World Cup are not English speaking countries. So if Australia (New Zealand, etc) and England want to call it Football and American Football so be it. We live in North America and we all call it soccer and football, and since we have more land mass and people then those two little Islands; we win.
A friend of mine lives in "Little Italy" in Montreal and he said during the final they thought World War 3 was going to break out in that quarter. My folks came from Germany and I cheer for Germany every year. Win or loose I still cheer
