Depends on the time of day - my husband lets the dogs out first thing in the morning and last thing at night. During the day, it's usually me letting them out. Of course, there have been times when the kids or the neighbors let them out, too. Once in awhile, if the door isn't latched completely, the dogs let themselves out! Another burning question is who let the dogs in?

I did! :*) I have 2 daschunds; brother & sister; Lucy & Puffy. I also have a chocolate lab named ABBY who was a surrogate mother to both and nursed them. That was 2 years ago and she still mothers them by cleaning and grooming them. Watching them eat and always waiting for them to finish before she eats. She also follows them everywhere outside and won't come inside unless they do. If one of them should run away she alerts.
