I'm an English learner, and I'm a girl. I wanna know if I should call all my female friends as girl friends and all male friends as boyfrineds? And do I have to write like girl friend or girlfriend? When I should combine two words into one word? Thank you.

Generally they're all referred to as friends. The one word gender-termed friend is used for a significant other (you are going out with) that person. Just call them friends, gender is not that big a deal in English...

The English language doesn't differentiate between male friends and female friends. Adding the prefix "boy" or "girl" to the word "friend" adds a romantic meaning.

Just call them your freind you dont need to add there gender. when you speak about them most likey the person will know its a boy or girl beacuse you will say there name or say he or she at some point.
