The best place I have been at a good price in St Paul-MSP is in Burnsville called Jensen's Cafe. I haved moved away from the Twin Cities and still crave their breakfast!

It has an awesome menu - with a lot to choose from and at very cheap prices. The staff is also very prompt and friendly. The cafe is from the same owners as the upscale Jensen's Supper Club in Eagan that is a lot pricier and fancier but the food quality is still high in the cafe.

I would recommend calling ahead on weekends - as it gets crowded!

I used to love Du Jour's Casual Cafe (formerly Le Peep), but I heard they closed.

I also have enjoyed the Highland Grill in St. Paul, The Egg & I on University at 280, and The Original Pancake House.

There are still some Pannekoeken Huis locations left, apparently!

Go to Old Country Buffet.

They have everything on their menu from French Toast to Scrambled eggs. The amount of food there is amazing, and there is everything there you could want, including fresh in season fruits.

The cost is really cheap for the amount of food you can get, and if you have a picky eater, this is great!

Give it try on a Saturday, but not a Sunday. The church crowds are large.

Hours for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday are 8am-1130am.

Enjoy!

Any Perkins would do.. but avoid the after-church-crowds on Sundays

Also try the Mystic Lake Casino.. the y have a nice brunch on the week-ends. For $12 you get over 120 varieties and the state's largest buffet..
