Try a pretty knee length teal or turqouise dress. Maybe even a bright blue or purple. Those colors are a great contrast to bronze heels. You don't necessarily need to match your heels to your dress (i.e. brown).... Contrasting colors are better! If you use purses, try using a bronze colored one like your heels. So cute!

You have a lot of options for dresses that will look good with bronze heels. If you want to really show off the shoes, choose a simple dress in a solid color - dark purple would look good. If you want to make the flashy shoes part of a flashy outfit, look for a patterned dress with a flouncy skirt.

But definitely avoid any skirts that are shorter than just above the knee. Since this is a family party, you don't want to look "hoochie" with a mini-skirt and stillettos.

First off, not the girly top and jeans, and not a halter top.

If the shoes are bronze, any earth tone, black or cream will go with them. Depending on how formal you want to go get a nice pants suit or dress or gown for that matter. Accessorize with bronze in your make-up, jewelry and purse.

If you have a brown dress. Or a simple black dress with bronze jewelry (like the big bronze beads)

It's a sad state of affairs when people think jeans are an appropriate suggestion for a formal party.

Most of the dress suggestions are pretty good, though.
