I would watch it as well. And no, you can't relate this to the nick berg beheading. To completely different situations.
But if anybody has put any attention to the story. These stingray attacks are extremely rare. So they caught extremely rare footage.
Although God Bless Irwin and his family, kinda shocked when I read he passed.
Edit::: For those commenting that it is disgusting to put video of someone passing, just wow, he put himself in danger plenty of times, if that is not disturbing itself then I don't know what is.

I think, if it is what the family wants then fair enough. there should be no pressure on them, nor should it be made into a lucrative deal thing, like being offered millions of $ in return for it being broadcast. It is a very sensitive thing.
I think I would probably watch it, I know that sounds morbid but it feels as though I know him as I have grown up watching his shows. It would have to be done in a tasteful way but it could be interesting

Steve Irwin made it clear, if he got into difficulties or even died on film, he wanted the camera to keep on rolling. The man was full of character, had a zest for life and was passionate in his work. He will be hugely missed.

i will watch it as a sign of respect.his wishes should be fulfilled.he looked after and tended to so many dangerous animals its a shame he was taken away by one of them.at least he passed away doing something that he enjoyed.i know this is no consolation to his family, they have lost a father, son etc.but he went happy.what a lovely man,his family should be proud he had such an impact on people, hope his partner will carry on the good conservation work he did,as they always did it together.heaven has gained another angel.god bless

It would be interesting to see his final performance but I don't think they'll show him actually dying thank God! It would be a waste of his life if they didn't show him with the Stingray, what would have been the point of filming it!

Apparently his family have said they don't mind the clip being released. Kind of sick I think, bit like watching the Nick Berg head chopping -- it'll be a hit!

I don't want to watch someone die, I think its sick.
Although I guess if the family have given their consent and are OK with it its not that bad. I would hate to think of it being shown for "entertainment" value.

I find this incredibly sickening that it would be broadcast - someones death. What has our society come to - wanting to see someones death (a real death outside of the fake Hollywood movies). Wow,I pray this does not get shown.

I would feel as if I were intruding, but I do believe he would have wanted it to be broadcast.
