Steve Irwin was famous in Austrailia for wrestling with crocodiles and he had a TV show which was all about crocodiles and mainly geared toward kids, I think. I wasn't into it but I know he was loved by his many fans around the world. He died in a really bizzare and horrific way...he was out scuba diving and a stingray came along and stabbed him right through the heart. The weird thing is, stingrays aren't known to be aggressive, they tend to be more shy, but for some reason this one went berzerk.

Steve Irwin was a man passionate about the natural world around him. He sought to teach / remind the human world about nature and how cool it really is. He called himself the Crocodile Hunter since that is what he did, but not to harm life. He passed away when a sting ray stick its barb into his heart.

Steve Irwin was a TV star he was know as the crocidile Hunter. He did all kinds of crazy stuff with dangerous animals.
He died by a sting rays tail pircing straight through his heart

I'am so sorry that you have not heard of this wonderful man,he was amazing with animals,and known as the crocodile hunter,as he used to catch them,he had close encounters with many animals,but he was killed by a freak accident involving a stingray,it was not the venom that killed him,but the impact,he has a big zoo in austrailia,and a wonderful family he has sadly left behind,he was a born natural with animals of all kinds.R.I.P Steve

The Crocodile Hunter, He was a Zoo owner and he did a nature TV show where his showed different animals in the wild... he was famed for rescuing crocs. He died while filming a show, he swim too close to stingray which stung him in the chest and the stinger pierced his heart.
Though his show he raised awareness of environmental issues and the plight of animals... Rest in Peace Steve-o.

A man passionately dedicated to life, conservation, the environment and educating people about animals. He will be missed, and hopefully remembered for all he did. A hero in my eyes, for sure. Taken out by a stingray.
