Because America is a sucker for a concerned look...that's his one and only trick.

Why did we tolerate Clinton who didn't inhale and if it's oral only it's not sex? And what thousands or as Paladin stated "His follies have killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people. " I haven't heard of that many people being killed. Maybe ya'll are counting their fingers and toes and not just bodies. Any innocents that have been killed have occurred because the military target was placed among civilian areas. If the cowardly enemy uses women and children as shields and are shooting at you to kill you, I am sorry, but self-preservation is going to kick in and YOU will return fire. Or are you one of those who is in favor of strapping bombs to your body and walking into a crowded area and blowing yourself up? Such bravery required to take out innocents.
I don't agree with all of Bush's policies. I think he has betrayed his followers in not following through in his campaign promises. But you know what I don't have all the facts. I am only getting the information that comes through the liberal press and most of that information is slanted against Bush. So unless you are one of the his trusted advisers and have access to information no one else has, I would not be making any judgments.

First, when you say tolerate, what do you mean? He was duly elected President and has committed no crimes that would allow for impeachment.
"lies have killed thousands".
I think it is only a lie if you know it is untrue when you say it. I voted for Bush and I dislike him greatly now. He was very dissappointing. However, I think you are drawing conclusions that have no basis in fact.

Because the Honorable George H.W. Bush is the duly elected President of the United States. He operates under a balance of power authorized by what we call a constitution. I am not happy with some of what he has done, but our country is what it is today because we have a rule of law and don't overthrow people we disagree with. Rather, we wait and elect people with different ideas. If the President's behavior is illegal, he may be removed from office by the congress of the United States. Are you sure he is lying?

To start with Clinton was the best we have had in a hundred years. And I live in the USA and I have not heard of any findings of any WMD in Iraq other then maybe the ones we the USA have there.
I agree that Bush should be removed and it has been tried many times but he has enough power and followers to stop it everytime. He was not voted into office either time, He cheated and scamed his way into office both times. He clearly lost and the other side just gave up.. I wonder why? Maybe something going on in the background we don't know about?

Blind political party following no matter what, even to the extent of today's war.
Not just Republicans but all parties. Those who blindly follow refuse to see the truth and they get mad and call people names who do not agree with them, because they cannot agrue with a skewed brain.
I am a social conservative, and a moderate on financial issues. Unfortunatly, I voted for this moron the first and second time. This next vote may not be Republican, because I don't follow or drink the party coolaid. I have a brain and I do think for myself. We'll see who the candidates are first.
This idiot got us in a mess and we have by no choice to find a way out. It really is Bush's fault, there is no getting around it. He invaded Iraq on lies and now were in deep cow manure.
Thanks Commander in Idiocy.

He lied about the reasons for going into Iraq. He continues to lie about the lies he told to invade Iraq. He has lied about his past. His coke use, his DUI, his desertion from the National Guard which was swept under the rug... all lies of omission. His follies have killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people.
America tolerates it because America believes what it is told to believe, no matter how contrary to common sense or reality it may be.

I can't say what Americans think but from where I was sitting here in Scotland on 9/11 it looked like Americans were killed first.

The same way they tolerated Clinton's lies. And the thousands who died by the hands of terrorists while he stood by and did nothing. Giving them the confidence that led to 911. How quickly you forget.

Lies? You certainly aren't still holding onto the WMDs are you? They were found, you know. And more would have been found if we didn't give them months to hide them in other countries.
Perhaps you're confusing Bush with Clinton who had the opportunity to have Osama handed over to him several times and who created the information wall between the CIA and FBI so that they couldn't catch the terrorists. That certainly cost thousands of lives, didn't it?
Take a deep breath. You are very, very confused.

it's not just the President Bush, but he has a whole government behind him and his own cabinet who back him up. americans follow their government as a sign of loyalty even though they might disagree with their decisions but then the next time they get voted out of office as punishment.
