A big part of the forest was burnt (tragic!) but only a few of the houses were destroyed, but dont know for sure about the one you are talking about.bu i am sure that even the particular one cant accept you will easily find another accomodation

Peukohori in Greek means Pine-tree village!
what a shame that the fire destroyed big part of it!

You obviously mean Peykoxori (Pine Village). I know for sure that the village was not badly damaged, except from a couple of houses at the end of the village next to the pine forest. Assuming that you will stay and move around the beach of the village and/or nearby villages (Xanioti, Polixrono, etc.) you should be okay.

Yes,property was damaged as well but not all of it.I don't know about these studios you say but a friend that has a house there told me that most of the village wasn't damaged
