im younger than he , and from another country,he dont like to go anywere and smokes like crazy!!!

What is the root of his bitterness? Is it something he can do anything about? If so, then encourage him to handle whatever is causing the bitterness. If not, if it is something that he cannot change - then remind him that he is letting whoever win, because they are affecting his whole life. Take action and pull that root of bitterness up. Whoever is causing it has probably already forgotten whatever the incident is and are not loosing any sleep over it. Tell him to find the joy in his life and let the tares go!!

What is it that has made him so bitter? Until you find out what his problem really is there is no way to solve it. The biggest problem is getting him to realize that he's bitter and unhappy and having HIM decide he wants to change it to make his own life better because thats the only thing that can fix it. Sounds like he needs to let go of the past and start appreciating the right now.

find out what is making him bitter. Sometimes it is the little things like being nagged when he just got homefrom work or being told about this, this and that when all are not so happy things when he may want to come home and relax a bit before all the bad things come out of the woodwork.
Maybe a romantic dinner and a night out at a movie or to see a band play occationaly can halp make people more enjoyable

Well, what exactly is he bitter about. If its something about you, like you nag to much or your such a perfectonist, lighten up a little bit. If hes bitter about his job suggest that he find a new one. If its about the way he grew up tell him to see a therepist. SInce, I don't know what hes bitter about I don't really know exactly what to tell you. Just let him know, that its bringing you down to. You can not, by the way, make your husband happier. He is or he isn't.

First of all, why is he so bitter? Well you could tell him that hes going to get old quick if he's a bitter person. Ask him why is he bitter. Write him a letter telling him how YOU feel about it and how it makes you very uncomfortable.

I might suggest that you consider ,,, finding a way out......

honey, i am so not gonna lie to u.
GET A DIVORCE!!!!
that is the reason why u should only get married if u know it will last. and one other thing is ur husband is not the only one who should be kept happy in this relasionship, u also deserve to be happy. if he is not meeting u half way, then just get out.
Life goes on after divorce, do it before it is too late.

He feel he is not enough to you,because you are younger,and he is jealous too,so,he does not want to go anywhere.Try to ask him why he is bitter.If he is not changing,try to get professional help.Good luck.You do not need to make him happy,he need to change his behaviour with you.Remember you are a wife,not a slave.
