Dixie Chicks. For standing for what they believe in despite death threats...they will truly stand the test of time. We need more artists like that with backbones.

I guess it depends on what kind of genre of music you like?

Depends on what you are into. VNV Nation is great. Spoonfed Tribe is in a league of their own as well.
