Are you a cretin or just a kid???? cos this aint an intelligent question:

1) he rules us by consent - i.e. we recognise the legitimacy of his government as elected by a majority at the last election giving him a mandate.

2) yes the royal family could be abolished if they were acting against the interests of the people and their elected representatives and they wouldnt be the first to be charged with treason (Charles I)

3) to be an emperor you must have an empire - Victoria only became an empress when india became part of the empire and getting rid of the monarchy would make us a republic - which have presidents.

...and finally...if you dont like Tony Blair then vote for someone else at the next election (that is if your old enough)...or else at the very least take a break, stretch your legs, walk around, take deep breaths and open your eyes before getting back on the band wagon!!!!

Tony Blair is the leader of the government and New Labour. He does not run the country. He has no power to abolish the government neither does he have any power to abolish the monarchy (and the armed forces swear allegiance to the monarch not the government). So no.

As far as the law goes, the goverment have no definitive power to do anything, they are more like advisors to the queen. They have low level powers defined in individual laws, but to make a new law, anything that they decide has to be signed off by the queen before it becomes law.

The queen on the other hand can in theory create laws without parliaments say so, so if she wanted to get back to totally ruling the country without an elected government, she only needs give the word.

seem, in case you've were given a political awl to grind, a minimum of attempt to get your data actual. Tony Blair has no longer secretly abolished the Privy Council. the authorities has proposed that, because the civil service branch which helps the Privy Council - the Privy Council place of work - is too small to operate effectively as a separate authorities branch it ought to develop into area of the cupboard place of work. In different words it really is an performance degree to maintain Taxpayers money. The status of the Privy Council itself has no longer replaced!

No he can't, not legally.

For that to happen he would need an act of parliament to abolish parliament that in turn requires royal assent for it to be finally passed. This is after the process that is followed through the house of commons and the house of Lords. It would also be contrary to constitutional law.

He would need a coup to make it work with full military backing. This is possible but very unlikely.

He could try but only if he wants to spend the next 25 years in the
Tower of London for committing treason. It'll be alright Tony you can take your Missus with you to keep you company. Oh! what a pleasant thought!!

We haven't seen an upheaval, such as the Battle of Naseby, the turning point of the Civil War (1645) since Cromwell's Roundhead's.
If Blair sees himself as a charasmatic, athough filthy, highly traitorous leader he's seriously deluding himself... though .. thinking about it.... nahh!!.. He's a glove puppet, a big girl's blouse... never fear.. Good will overcome.
