I dress up at all times. I cordinate outfits to go to the laundry room or store. I see people walking around looking like slobs in their tshirts and shorts and jeans. A man should be in a tie and shirt at all times and a woman in a dress and stockings, etc. I have to wear an ugly uniform ( not really a uniform, just certain colors and a style I don't like) so I make an effort to be well dressed the rest of the time. If you are casual, why do you like to dress that way rather than putting on your best clothes everyday? When I am in the mall I see beautiful dress shirts and ties but where are the men who wear them? Are they hiding them under their ugly cargo shorts and sweats? What's wrong with being dressed up all the time??

I dress up everyday at the office, but I still do an most dates and to go out for dinner. My particular pet peeve is women all dressed up in a dress and heels, with bare legs. They look so sloppy.

I dislike pantyhose as much as the next girl, but now they have beautiful stockings you can wear with or without a garter belt, and they make you look so much more finished. I have a great tan and nice legs, but they never look as good as they do with stockings on.

There is nothing wrong with putting your best foot forward. I wish I had an opportunity to wear nice clothes. I wear uniforms to work and when at home I just dress casually. I am hard put to figure out what to wear if I have to go some place dressy. You are right about men. I rarely see a man dressed nicely as well. Maybe they do in the cities???

I am generally casual. Its easier and more comfortable. I don't care about throwing a pair of jeans in the washer twice a week but I would hate to do that to my dress trousers. Hence why I don't dress up all the time.

Plus, for me anyway, It takes the fun out of taking hours to get ready for a night out, co-ordinating an outfit, matching my make up with it and all that jazz if I do it everyday. I like to keep nice things for special occasions and wow people when I walk in.

I like the best of both worlds. Get a pair of broken in jeans, and a nice frilly blouse, with some cute shoes. It would look great. I like to be comfortable that doesn't mean you have to look like a slob though. I feel like when I'm dressed up I'm not showing the real me. That is why I go for half and half. To show my personality yet still look good.

I love being dressed up when I go out but sometimes you just don't have the time to do makeup, pick an outfit, etc when you just need to pop out to the store so sometimes it has to be jeans and a t-shirt!

I dress casually most of the time. I like to be looking good wherever I go so I change shirts whenever I think it looks awful on me. I like wearing blue jeans that fit not the ones that are baggy and you can see their boxers. I like shirts that are color coordinated to my pants and my shoes are usually loafers, sneakers, boots or dress shoes. So I'd say more casual dress I am.

I have to dress up for work, but when I'm not working I like to be casual because....it's comfortable! Dressing up for Wal Mart is silly. I couldn't care less what people think of my jeans and tank top

I don't dress up in dresses or skirts all the time, but I like to wearing fancy stuff all the time, like heels with my jeans and long perfectly coordinated earrings and jewelry with everything.
I totally agree with you on the guy thing though. I think my guy-friends look totally hot in button-down shirts...

I dress mainly comfi. but if I'm going out to a nice rest. or church. I will dress up. I have alot of med. problems {arth., lupus, and so forth}. So, there are times when I'm hurting and can not stand anything tight or close to my skin. So, don't always judge someone by not dressing up all the time.

Wow. You would hate me! I am wearing sweatpants and a torn tshirt right now, with baby spit on the sholder. lol

If I dressed up I'd be screwed....my day consists of playing on the floor with my babies and changing diapers! rofl!

When I do get to go out (about twice a year!) jeans and a decent top feel "dressed up"!!
