what are the changes in the cervix when pregnant is it soft or hard and can it feel open at times?

Don't feel your cervix when you are pregnant

you can rupture your membranes and cause yourself to go into labor.

I don't believe you can feel any changes to the cervix. You might just have to wait until your water breaks or you get labor contractions.

You cannot "feel" it open.

It will be hard and long during pregnancy then it will shorten (efface) and widen about 1 month (sometimes later) before labor begins.
