I have not been to Vegas for Thanksgiving. What can I expect. How will the weather be. The shows on the strip, will it be nice enough to have all the shows, TI, Mirage, Bellagio?

We go to Las Vegas every year during the week of Thanksgiving. Last year it was nice enough during the day to swim, but the 2 years before that it was a bit chilly during the day. You usually only need a coat in the evening, or if you are walking on the shady side of the street!

The fountains at Bellagio and the volcano at Mirage usually operate any time. The Siren show at TI does cancel due to cold weather, so that is the only one that's iffy.

Enjoy your trip. You might want to make a reservation for Thanksgiving day if you can.

That's a great time to go to Vegas . I usually go every year right after Thanksgiving, but before Christmas. its a low season there, not as many people and lower room prices.

The weather will be pleasant during the day, light jacket or sweater (55-60 or more) and cool ( 45 to 55) at nights, definately a jacket. The shows will go on, except if it is windy the fountains at Bellagios will not go.

It all honesty its not the best time of year to go. Prices will still be high because you are around a Holiday. Crowds will be a little higher because of the holiday.

As far as the weather, it all depends what you like. Alot of people complain about Vegas heat, but its a dry and heat and the pools are so nice that it never seems to be a problem. It would be perfect golf or sight seeing weather that time of year . Typically in the 60's to low 70's, but not great pool weather. Many hotels will shutdown their pools in late October/early Novermber.

Not my ideal time to go, but you may love it.

November is a wonderful time to be in Las Vegas. The biggest problem I have is facing the cold, wet midwest weather when I get back. Its depressing. The weather during the day is great. It does get cold at night in Vegas during November.

my family used to go to las vegas for thanksgiving every year. we never booked a hotel in advance and never had trouble finding a hotel room at one of the bigger hotels once we got there. thanksgiving isnt really one of vegas' bigger holidays so you can expect there to be plenty of room for fun and not too much of a crowd. the shows that the different hotels offer are completely viewable.
