I think so, they are on Dell Monitors (which I think are Sony )
They are very feint lines about one quarter of the way from top and bottom.
You don't see them after a while

Yes I think it's the support wires for the aperture grill. From the link below:
"Because the aperture grille wires are very thin, there's a possibility that they might move, due to expansion or vibration. In an attempt to minimize this potential, one or two extremely fine damper wires are fitted horizontally to increase stability. This reduces the chances of aperture grille misalignment, which can cause vertical streaking and blurring. The downside is that because the damper wires obstruct the flow of electrons to the phosphors, they are just visible upon close inspection (particularly on an all white background). "

We have several at work, it seems that only the older ones have the 2 lines, i.e. more that 4 years old (in my experience). They are shadows of wires that are used for the degauss apparently.

Yes So does my Mitsubishi Diamond Plus. But I can only see them if I deliberately search for them. They are far too insignificant to notice otherwise.
