If that's the case, it's not a dream, it's a nightmare.

This was actually the subject of a Danish children´s book, Per all Alone in the World, though the situation is there reversed- he dreams he is alone and all the world is empty.
It is in a sense the subject too, of Alice in Wonderland, and if I remember correctly, the Twilight Zone tv films.

Then maybe the pain you feel when you are injured and the emotional pain you feel when you are hurting are also dreams. I think our senses are not that deceiving. They allow us to see, feel, hear, and taste reality or the world around us. If everything were a dream, then I wouldn't be able to communicate with you thus way, unless, of course, we are both dreaming.

If all was a dream then the planet would be a dream too ,
your interactions with the other persons in your dream would not be a true reflection of yourself, and therefore you would be a figment of yourown imagination.

that would just lead me to question my very existence because it could be the other way round that i am just a dream, or have been unconscious for the past decade and all this time it has just been an endless dream that has dragged on for far too long that it feels real

Kinda similar to the matrix theory, that we are plugged in to a programme and we are not really who we think we are. I think that maybe there is some truth to this, look at deja vu and other strange happenings!

then wouldn't it be a bummer if you didn't like your job, to wake up to find out you never actually had to go.
it would also be weird that we dream if we wake up and find out we've been dreaming in a dream, it'd be like that painting of a painting of a painting of a painting etc. i'm dizzy now
