Place the blood stains part in a bowl with cold water and ice. Add some Dawn dish soap or some other brand of liquid soap to the bowl on top of blood stain. Let sit for a few hours adding ice if needed. Then wash with other cloths that should do it.

Works on dried bloodstains, too:
Pour lemon juice over the stain and let it sit for a few minutes. Then use a laundry pre-treatment spray or stick. Rinse it out in warm water. Repeat as many times as necessary.

If it is fairly fresh, milk will remove the proteins that hold the blood to the fibers.

If it is old, try rubbing alcohol. This will also get rid of some types of glue and marker.

As a woman and as a mother of daughters and that time of the month sneaking up on you at times..What works the best is peroxide poured right on the spot and you may have to scrub it a little.

for colored clothes use shout or a color safe bleach or whites shout or regular chlorine bleach, also check around there is a product that is suppose to be on the market that works to remove strickly blood stains, but forgot what it's name is.

try to run over the stain cold wather until the stain fades away

if you have not already washed and dried it....just soak it forwhile with hydrogen peroxide you will see if foam and agitate it....then you scrub it even deeper with like Tide or something and a toothbrush if it hasn't come out yet. If not then try bleach if it is a white color.
