Could anyone give us any background to an oak table made over 60 years ago with a label of Highbury on it?

The table is about 4 1/2 feet long by 3 feet wide. The table top pivots and the underside is covered in white enamel with the name Highbury on it.Also has a cutlery drawer underneath.
