Start by multiplying the number outside the parentheses by each of the factors inside the parentheses. This will get rid of the parentheses and give you something that looks more like a solvable equation. Then, simply solve for "x" by isolating it on one side of the "=" sign.

7(3x+4)=8(2x+5)+13
21x+28=16x+40+13
21x+28=16x+53
21x-16x=53- 28
5x=25
x=5

2(x- 3)- 3(x+5)=3(x- 2)- 7
2x- 6- 3x- 15=3x- 6- 7
- x- 21=3x- 13
- 21+13=4x
- 8=4x
x=-2

First use the distributive property:
i.e. 7*3x + 7*4, do the same on the other side, then do basic math to simplify, then cancel out by doing the opposite, until you're left with x

removing the parenthese
21x+28=16x+40+13
transposing
21x-16x=40+13-28
5x=25
x=5

2.removing the brackets
2x-6-3x-15=3x-6-7
transposing
2x-3x-3x=-6-7+6+15
-4x=8
x=-2
