you did not specify what you were planning to use this for so i will just assume office applications. the E4300 (the cheapest of the core 2 duo)should be more than enough for these kind of apps. I have this processor and have it overclocked to 3.2ghz from 1.8 and it works great even with current resource hungry games edit. the E4400 listed is cheaper (weird) get it instead of the e4300. If you need a more powerful processor for a few more bucks E6550 would be the best bang for the buck.
