what planet are you from? LOL. Just kidding.

Blogs are like the best things ever. Its where you just come online and share your thoughts with pretty much everyone in the world. |

Since you are in Yahoo answers, you're not that far from Yahoo 360. They provide a blog there. You should join. And then you get other people to join. So then you have a blog to write and many blogs to read. It's pretty cool.

Join, and add me as a friend:

A blog is similar to a diary except that it's online and kept in some internet server. You can write your experiences, share photos on it with the rest of the world. To set up a blog, you can visit free blog hosting websites like www.blogger.com

You read other blogs by doing a search for blogs of topics that interest you. Reading other people's blogs is normal since they are posted online - the whole purpose is to allow others to view and possibly comment.

An online diary is a personal diary or journal that is publish on the world wide web on a personal website or a diary hosting website. Online diaring began in 1995. As a community formed, these publications came to be almost exclusively known as online journals. Today they are almost exclusively called blogs, though some differentiate by calling them personal blogs. The running updates of online diarists combined with links inspired the term 'web log' which was eventually contracted to form the word blog.

In online diaries, people write their day-to-day experiences, social commentary, complaints, poems, prose, illicit thoughts and any content that might be found in a traditional paper diary or journal. They often allow readers to contribute through comments or community posting.

Blog is an electronic log maintained in the form of a web site. In other words, it is a web log. It can be used to write various things as you write on a diary. It is dynamic, since what you write today is on top of the earlier ones.

Blogs are everywhere and most are intended to be read, or else it would be marked as private where only people who have a special invite to read that blog could access it.

Some blog sites are wordpress.com, livejournal.com, diaryland.com, blogger.com and then aol and yahoo I think have their own blog sites. Just go on any of those sites and you can link to other people's blogs.
