Why would it be a crime? It's perfectly acceptable now days. It has been since the 1800's.
Skin color is, fortunately, a non-issue to most.
Notice I said, "to most." Some people won't agree with me, because they are close-minded.

It is not a crime. The color of a person's skin is no different than the color of a person's hair or eyes. We are all people. It's not what is on the outside that matters, it's what is on the inside.

There is nothing wrong with having friends of other origins or color. That's what makes the world turn when all races can get along and be friends!!

I have no hang ups with color, religion, sex, whatever. I know that some people are afraid of what they don't understand, so they judge it. But you will never learn if you don't take the chance. I can always use a friend.
