God is the divinity, the "intention" that is built into this entire creation. It is the source from which everything flows; that which "intends" everything in the universe. A seed is intended to become a tree, different cellular combinations are "intended" to become different species, nebular dust is intended to give birth to new stars, opposite charges are "intended" to attract and similar charges are "intended" to repel, gravity is "intended" to pull down objects on the surface of a body, atoms are "intended" to combine in specific ways to give rise to different material elements, so on and so forth. Everything is a manifestation of this source of "intention" that is immanent.

Using the fabulous explanation given by Hinduism, God is Absolute Truth, Absolute Good, and Absolute Beauty. This is a close explaination of the nature of this source of "intention".

Heavenly Father God is the father of our spirits. He is the one that created the plan for all of us to come here to Earth. His purpose is to bring about the immortality and eternal life of man.

Jesus Christ God is the first born and only perfect son of Heavenly Father. He volunteered to come to Earth and take on all of the pain, and sickness of all people in order to allow all men the ability to repent and return to Heavenly Father.

The Holy Ghost God is sent by our Heavenly Father to testify of truth, and to direct us in the way we need to go to get back to our Heavenly Father.

The Supreme Personality of Godhead is the Absolute Truth, the source of all material and spiritual manifestations. He is the one living being who is maintaining all other living beings and He is the chief eternal among all eternal living beings. He is the supreme enjoyer, supreme controller and reservoir of all pleasure. He is the all-attractive one who possesses all opulences-- wealth, beauty, knowledge, strength, renunciation and fame-- in full. His energy creates, maintains, and dissolves this cosmic manifestation simply by His will while He is absorbed in playful pastimes of love with His loving devotees in the Vaikuntha (spiritual) world. He expands Himself into innumerable, equally transcendental forms like Himself for pastimes in this material world to attract the fallen souls back to Him. He is known as Brahman by the impersonalist speculators, Antaryami (Supersoul) by the yogis and as the Supreme Personality of Godhead by the devotees.

He is the Alpha the Omega, the creator of all things above and below. He is awsome!!! you should invite him into your heart. But don't just take my word for it, he appointed 66 men to write the:
Basic
Instructions
Before
Leaving
Earth
for us to get to know him a little more in detail.

You imply belief in the existence of 'God' by asking others to define it.

"To ever truly understand anything, you must first understand its essence."

The essence is the combination of a definition which gives meaning unto itself.

See Aristotle.
