I need a new computer, and I was looking on Dell at the Basic Entry Computer. Does anybody know how good the Integrated Intel® Extreme Graphics 2 video card is for games, and if it has 3D capability, or does anybody have good/bad experiences with Dell.com

the graphics card you mentioned can probably be bought for $20. if you are looking for gaming, i suggest buying a fairly cheap computer, upgrade the RAM to at LEAST 1gb, but 2gb is better obviously, and then get a good graphics card. Dell computers come with small hard drives, but you can buy an external one to add to it. i would recommend going to a BestBuy and talking to people there, because they know what they are doing. Dont go to CompUSa because 72% of there customers find that the product they are shopping for is out of stock.

First, learn to speak Hindi and possibly Malaysian, 'cause that's who you'll get for tech support, if you get a Dell, dude! I got a Dimension 4100 back in the good old days (2001) and tech support was great. I was happy. I still am.

It crashed after being infected (my fault) but my kid's friend brought it back to life (complete filewipe or whatever). Now we use it while our Gateway is being fixed, but we don't call Dell support! So many people nowadays can help you instead, like the tech support at Verizon Yahoo.

As for gaming, mine has the NVidia G-force (sp?) and I've only played a racing game ("Midtown Madness"). It looked great but kept freezing. I'd stick to my PS2 for games.

The B110 has minimal graphics capability. I've purchased 4 computers from them. The prices were good and the units delievered on time and all operated right out of tyhe box.
