I feel slightly ill-at-ease with Europeans and especially European women. I feel clumsy and provincial. It has nothing to do with the woman but of my own image of them being much more sophisticated, wise, and certainly better linguistically gifted than I am.
I also feel embarassed by how America is now treating the world. Do know that over half of America is really embarassed by that. We are doing our best to change the regime, peacefully.
I feel European women are truly women and not the brainless Barbie dolls that it seems American women are now hiding their intelligence to emulate.
And yes, I love the accents and find them usually captivating. Engimas. Perhaps too many French films, or maybe it is because I know some Romanian women who are gorgeous. The Right Worshipful Master of one of my Lodges was from Russia. Very wonderful lady.
OK, I think that is probably more than you want to know. Isobella Rosellini springs to mind.
