Razors leave way too much stubble! Veet & Nair have a way of burning you skin. I say waxing or laser. Laser cost has gone down now days. Or try your dermatolagist to see if there is a more permanant way to remove unwanted hair. Vinqua works well I here. It slows the hair growth and also thins it at the same time eventually stoping growth.

I too have sensitive skin...tried Nair once and it burned, just like Veet did to you. If I were you, I'd stick to shaving, b/c it's the least traumatic to your skin, and go all out--buy a GOOD shaver like Schick Silk Effects (that's what I use) that has a comfort strip, and use a good shaving lather, but maybe one that is unscented if you can find it. I'd rather pay a bit more for the good stuff than to be in pain! Good luck.

I also had to stop using all creams for hair removal. It took awhile, I put over the counter cortisone cream and that helped alot!!! I went back to shaving after that. I just had my armpits lazored, and now I am hair free forever. It took several trips 400 bucks and it felt like a rubber band snapping you. I am not sure I would do the legs, but it is great not to have any underarm stubble!!! If your skin is still giving you trouble consult a dermatologist for an RX.

I have very sensitive skin also. If you leave the product on to long it will cause irritation, such as the redmarks, burning, etc.. and lotion tends to burn it more. I use the nair and leave it on for 5 minutes and it does fine for me. Also you need to not shave or use anything on your legs for 24 hours after removing hair.. Good Luck

i've had trouble before when i've waxed my legs have reacted really badly and I break out in this weird rash. takes MONTHS to heal. now i use an epilator because it means that no chemicals touch my skin. it hurts alot more unfortunately but i get so annoyed with shaving that its worth it, if you can't be bothere/ have time to wait for regrowth. Whatever you use, always always do a patch test. even when you've tried the stuff before. i think my skin goes into shock sometimes, so everyime i have to do a test before hand. its a pian, but its better that 10weeks of waiting to heal!
good luck

well i wax my brow but on my legs its too sensitive. i shave and dont' have a problem. try useing a razor with more blades, like gillette venus, use gel not shaving cream. don't press so hard, and dont shave every time u see stubble. the only person who notices that is u, let the hair grow a lil then shave it. good luck. and your legs maybe sensitive simply because you are doing to much to them.

i have...nair burned me big time and made me blled and have little red bumps. next time you shave, exfoliate first to slough off dead skin cells. this will give you a closer shave and there's less chance of irritation/infection (litte red bumps in your follicles). use shaving gel, and a new, sharp razor. or wait and get it waxed...as much as it hurts, it lasts longer and may be the best option for you.
