Yes, I do that a lot. Just the other day there was a homeless guy outside of the store, but I didn't have any cash on me so I bought some food for him while I was inside, but when I came out he was gone all ready. I guess I should have told him not to go anywhere. I also just gave a friend a $50 gift certificate, because I have no use for it even though I could have sold it on Ebay and made some money. I'm nicer than people think ;)

The principle of randomness speaks of a purposelessness that does not exist...
God has a purpose in EVERYTHING that happens and in every little thing that makes up every thing... He is in control and nothing - NOTHING - happens without His consent... We are all connected in ways we cannot see and some that we can... ALL acts of kindness are done with the purpose of bettering someone else's lot in life...
You may be referring to grace or unconditional love - which are extending favor to someone who has not earned it...

yeah, it happens at times. not that i enjoy talking about it. when it comes to kindness, charity, generosity, forgiveness, etc. the best way to go is to keep quiet about it. like they say, "do an act of kindness and throw it in the sea". in other words, forget it and don't EVER remind other people of what you've done for 'em, not even mention it to somebody else.

Yes, and nearly every one made my day better. It's surprising how little effort it takes to do something nice for someone and equally surprising that so many are cynical in this world. HAGD!
