Ive had trouble with a non-blue tooth keyboard and mouse. Cant get more than 6 feet away before it looses connection. Ive heard that cordless phones can cause interference and that the blue tooth technology filters out other signals better. Is this true?

regular wireless keyboards and mouse work on infrared
so it bascially line of sight
a blue tooth surpasses that
very low interference and good signal strength
