I'm a white American male and I keep one pinky nail sort of long to make it easier to pick up small things. Big fat fingers have a real hard time grabbing a small flat object off of a table or a desk. I don't use it for drugs or dingleberries, but sometimes it comes in handy for the obligatory nasal strip-mining.

I have noticed that too, but not just amongst people from the middle east...I believe that it's an intimacy thing...with relation to females?

Long nails can be harbingers for bacteria, particularly if they are artificial, but they will are good for scratching and opening those little foil wrapped containers that are so hard to get into.

I prefer girls who have got a natural look... sure makeup as well as other things are good, but when it is used to enhance your current natural look.

ive always wondered this too...my ex (not from far east) carribien had the same on both hands..he said just bcoz he liked it...weirdo...also i know people who snort cocaine use it as a holder if i can say that...anyway this sight has the answer....

In some middle eastern countries toilet paper is almost unheard of, if you are a Sheppard for example.
Perhaps it is for that reason, lets hope its not for both reasons!
