I think it is a boil? it is really painful and it comes to a head?

take her to a dr. If its a spider bite it could be deadly.

To the person who said it could be a Brown Recluse, that's very unlikely, considering that if it was, she would probably not be alive now. Besides those spiders are only found in certain areas of the country, so that is not a good assumption to jump to.
Aside from a spider bite, it could just be a boil. She still needs a doctor to check it out, but boils can often occur.

If it is a spider bite, or any insect bite, check for toxic striations, that look like red streaks running outward and moving up or down the area around the bite. If none is present it is probably just a boil and in need of lancing. However, if you see the red lines, immediate medical attention is required.

I have to agree with "babysisterch". Go get it looked at. Some spider bites can cause tissue death from the venom and the longer it goes untreated, the worse the damage and scarring.

Go get it lanced cut l mean and cleaned does not take long hurts a bit but all done with.Some times if comes to head and you can push out the puss and keep it clean on your own ,SOMETIMES l mean.Boils just come and no doctor knows why ,but if your a diabetic its worse cause you can not heal as good or fast.Had many of them .Good luck

if she says a spider bit her than i think she is telling the truth spider bites causes boils,bites,bruises and other marks there is nothing to do except band aide it so it wont break open and bleed if its no better in 2 weeks have her see a dr

GET HER TO A DOCTOR. From what you describe it could be the bite of a Brown Recluse spider. It can be fatal.

I agree with BabySister... it could be a spider and it could be deadly. If it's a brown recluse she could have permanent skin damage. Why are you questioning it? TAKE HER TO THE DOCTOR!

sounds like a poisonous spider, like a black widow. take her to the doctor.
