the way i do it is really simple and works. if you right click once on the file you want to send to disk ,click on send to..then at the bottom it should say drive e or whatever drive has the disk in.click on that..it will then send the file and will say files ready to be coppied,click on the drive e (the one with the disc) (it may not be e but mine is) then on the right hand side it says copy all to disk click that and your done.this is how it should be done and its really quick

It depends, Floppy - Right Click File, Send To, A Drive
CD- you need a cd burner or DVD Burner for this feature, even with XP's Default Run Down Version of Roxio that is installed by Default on all XP Machines, Zip Drive- Same as Floppy. Good Luck

If the folder contains songs you'll need a cd burner like nero but if its documents or pics you can copy and paste it

you can "drag + drop" from one file 2 a disk
