Theories abound but the most widely accepted is "The Land Bridge Theory". Years ago there was a strip of land connecting modern Russia with modern Alaska and the people of that area came over for better hunting and just moved across North America and into South

Native Americans are native to America.

When the first inhabitants of America arrived, they were natives of another place...they were (effectively) foreigners, too. As to how they arrived, a common theory is by foot across a land-bridge from what is now Russia across to what is now Alaska.

there is the theory that the first american immigrants came from what now is called russia through the bering strait thausands of years ago when all the northen seas were iced....that is why almost all native american -the whole continent- have asian traits

well there is the land bridge theory, but if you believe in the great continent of Pangaea, then they could have been here when the land separated.
