I am on the pill, but not very good at taking it. I missed a few pills last month. The first day of my last period was July 26. I was supposed to start again on August 24 and begin my new pack of pills on the 27th. I am now 12 days late. I have taken several HPT's and all have come back negative. If I am pregnant I would be about 5 weeks along. I had cramping on the day my period was to start, urinating frequently, mild lower back aches, and feeling more tired. Other than those and a missed period no other symtoms (the ones I do have aren't that bad either). I have missed pills before and have never been even a day late. I know it's possible to be pregnant, but what do you think? I'm 26 and engaged to be married, so this pregnancy would be unexpected, but welcomed none the less. Thanks for the advice.

If you have started a new pack of pills already it is possible you will not have a period. You should see your OBGYN for suggestions on an option you don't have to remember daily. There are options that are only once a month if that would work better for you. In the mean time you should place your pills somewhere you are likely to see everyday to help you remember such as next to your toothbrush.

Sweetie, you could be pregnant, but if you have tacken several test, I am surprised it didn't show up on one of them if you think you are 5 weeks along. I have missed pills before and my periods were screwed up until I was back on track. Missing pills can be very hard on your system. You body relies on the pills to keep your system working like clock work. Have you seen a doctor cause, urinating more frequently, back aches, well that can also be a bladder or urinary infection. My opinion would be that if you are pregnant, it would have shown up in one of the tests. Either way see a doctor and take care of your self. Missing a period is almost always a sign of something. Good luck to you and I hope the outcome is what you wanted.

Ok well I have been told that you can have a false positive but that it is nearly impossible to get a false negative unless you take your HPT too early. Once you become pregnant your body releases a hormone into your blood stream and thats what tells the HTP that your pregnant. You may have however already had a miscarriage if you were in fact pregnant but you should have still shown pregnant on the HTP. If it is showing up negative and you have had these symptoms than it is probably just the fact that your body is out of wack from you being so irregular on taking your birth control. If you don't start in about a week and/or your symptoms get worse see your doctor right away! Hope this helps!

You might be pregnant and you might not, stress can do wacky things to your, If your stressing about not getting your period then you might not get your period b/c you are stressing, the best thing to can do Is go to your doctor and have a blood test done for they are 100% accurate, and that will tell your doctor If you are pregnant or not, If your not pregnant you should talk to your doctor about another form of birth-control that would be easier to mess with then trying to remember to take a pill everyday at the same time, b/c with such busy schedules of today I know that trying to remember a pill can be quite hectic. I really liked the depo-shot you go In every three months and get the shot so you don't have to remember a pill, there are a lot of other options. GoOd LuCk and I wish you the best!

The best thing to do is to go and see a doctor. It's very possible for you to be pregnant. The doctor would do a pregnancy test on your urine, and probably a blood test to confirm as well. It's horrible not knowing - that is the only way to know for sure. Good luck!

I would stop by my gyno and get a quick check, you shouldn't even have to make an app. Usually you can pee or do a little blood work and they can tellyou and you will feel better. Or plan to be excited.

Ask your GP for a sensitive pregnancy test. 7 HPT's failed to pick up my pregnancy (whilst regularly taking the pill). Your symptoms could be a Urinary Tract Infection, amongst other things, but you have to be sure before you start taking oral contraception as in some cases its not healthy.
