Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis - a lung disease caused by the inhalation of very fine silica dust, mostly found in volcanoes.

Look it up, it really is a word. 45 letters. They (who knows who) thinks this is the longest.

SUPERCALIFRAGILISTIC EXPIALIDOCIOUS, lol!

Seriously though, 'pneumonoultra microscopicsilico volcanoconiosis', a 45-letter word supposed to refer to a lung disease, but research has discovered that this word was originally intended as a hoax.

The Guinness Book of Records, in its 1992 and previous editions, declared the "longest real word" in the English language to be 'floccinaucinih ilipilification' at 29 letters. (More recent editions of the book have since acknowledged 'pneumonoultra microscopicsilico volcanoconiosis')
