I beleive he can, he just has intimacy issues. Also, has he always been like this?? is he older than 50? If he is older and in a high stress job, men tend to turn to activities rather than physical closeness. Some men can love deeply and sho it in different ways other than affection. There is a book called the Five Languages Of Love. Maybe you can check it out.

Is this a new or has it always been this way? At some point in your relationship you must have been intimate if you married him. I will simply say this. When you love someone you do what is in their best interest, you want to make sure they are happy and fulfilled. This obviously doesn´t make you happy and I think he is being selfish. He just came out and told you this one day as if it was no big deal...that doesn´t sound like he wants to be a husband...sounds more like a friend...have you asked yourself if he is gay?

No.....However there may some physical cause such as low testosterone levels or something else. It could be mental problems (neuroses) that may be bothering him. How long have you been married and did this just come on suddenly or has it been progressive. Get help...if your husbanc refuses, divorce him - life is too short to live like you are doing now.

some people are emotionally unavailable and dont see what the big deal is about being affectionate.....it is a problem for you because you need that, if he doesnt see it as a problem he probably never will. Has he always been that way????
