I had a think about this...true, all of the Brazilians I ever met seemed to have good senses of humour, an enjoyment of life, and of course like good music and a good party! But even in adverse circumstances they seem to take it pretty much as it comes without getting all out of shape. Wish I could learn to be that mellow.

I don't know many Brazilians but the impression gathered from the media is that they are a happy people who love life. Maybe that explains their popularity. I don't think the second part of the question is valid because there is no such thing as the most popular race in the world. How can we compare the popularity of different races? You can't do it in a scientific way. Besides, as someone points out earlier, Brazilians are mixed race. If you are Brazilian, congratulate yourself for having been born a popular people.

I think it's because of their women. Thong bikinis and such became popular in Rio. And granted, I've never met an ugly Brazilian woman yet!

I think you may have confused popularity of the wax job dudded "the Brazilian" with the actual Brazilians.
The women are pretty friggin' hot though. :o)

I think you'll find it's the haircut rather than the people, although the people are very nice too.
And just incase you really don't know it's having a womans pubic hair removed

Apart from the fact that they have produced the best footballers in the world and there woman.... what can i say.
Also, if you commit an offence in England and then fly to Brazil, you can't be arrested.
