It just seems like we are always hit with things right about this time of year. 9/11, Hurricane Katrina were major events but then there was the death of Princess Diana (8/31/97) and now Steve Irwin, the nice jolly guy from TV. Doesn't this just seem odd? What is it about this time of year? I am beginning to dread it and think what will this year bring?

You don't know of the curse of August? And September is a trial too. My anniversary and both my husband and my birthdays fall during this cursed time as well. We can never celebrate without a disaster coming along. Nothing good comes of August. Someone even wrote a book about it once.

I am very tired from it all.
