Lots of fluids, using a vaporizer (also adding some vicks vapo steam works well) drinking a hot cup of tea, peppermint, and even the nasal breathe right strips all help alleviate nasal congestion. (the strips allow passages to open, and assist with bloodflow by reducing pressure on vessels allowing for better blood reurn as swollen tissues do not perfuse as well thought they dont tell you this on the package.)

boil a liter or two of water, let it sit off the stove for 2-3 minutes. sit next to it and cover yourself and the pot with a big towel/sheet so that you make a tent and te steam does not escape. sit in this for 10-15 minutes. you can do this every 3-4 hours. it may give you a runny nose but will get the junk out of your nose and sinuses. another thing is to sit in the bathroom with the door closed, leave the shower runnig at full hot,(sit outside the shower) and once the mirro fogs up sit in there for 10-15 minutes at a time, feel free to email me with any questions
