Just because stuff works good, doesn't always mean it cost alot to produce. Sometimes the consumer isn't paying more for quality, but the consumer is paying more to maintain the image or perception of value and quality.
Take the example of facial products - cosmetics, cleanser, toner, moisturizer. If a manufacturer puts a product in a little container that is attractive and charges a lot of money for it, the consumer thinks they are buying something that is precious and rare.
Even if it only cost a company $ 5 per 5 gallon container to make, in the consumers' mind because it is packaged in a small container with a large price tag, the product is valuable and rare. By creating artificial scarcity, consumers will pay more for a precious product.

even as I do consider your representation of the tea activities: this isn't an precise or logical evaluation. that is rife with fallacy and glaring partisan arguments. Regardless... I nevertheless imagine you're actual. In an impartial analyzation of the ideaological practices of capitalism vs. socialism and its leaders... the evidence surfaces that the income objective isn't in the basically right activity of the ninety 9% of the inhabitants: that is in the activity of the a million%. those who oppose you'll probable be appauled even as their grandchildren's textbooks regard Reagan and Bush because the very political figures which almost killed the unique american spirit.

A lonely woman, aged 70, decided that it was time to get married. She put an ad in the local paper that read:
HUSBAND WANTED!
MUST BE IN MY AGE GROUP (70's),
MUST NOT BEAT ME,
MUST NOT RUN AROUND ON ME,
AND MUST STILL BE GOOD IN BED!
ALL APPLICANTS PLEASE APPLY IN PERSON.
On the second day she heard the doorbell. Much to her dismay, she opened the door to see a gray-haired gentleman with no arms or legs sitting in a wheelchair. The old woman said, "You're not really asking me to consider you, are you? Just look at you.... you have no legs!" The old man smiled, "Therefore I cannot run around on you!"
She snorted. "You don't have any hands either!" Again the old man smiled, "Nor can I beat you!"
She raised an eyebrow and gazed intently. "Are you still good in bed?" With that, the old gentleman leaned back, beamed a big broad smile and said, "I rang the doorbell, didn't I?"

Price should reflect the quality of the item... Better quality should cost more - poorer, less...
