is benefit cosmetics any good? esp that benetint?

An average review: "This is a pretty good product, but not great. I bought it about 2 or 3 years ago, of course I'd heard so many great things about it. But I really didn't think it was that great on it's own. It's basically hype. The color and smell are lovely, though. But I just didn't like the texture and the packaging. It wasn't all that easy to blend and I ended up mixing it with a tiny bit of moisturizer just so that I could spread it out better and keep my cheek color looking even. Of course this kept it from lasting very long. I still would buy it again though, because I did like it.I would probably put it underneath foundation or a tinted moisturizer and then put another blush on over it, though. It would just be one of those additional things that I use because I like to use, not because I need or because it's all that effective."

A very good review: "Absolutely brilliant! I use this everyday. I've got light brown skin (South Asian) and it looks perfectly fine against my skintone. My technique is to lightly brush a few strokes of it onto each cheek and lightly blend with my finger. It lasts for ages - I bought mine a year ago and still have lots left even with almost constant use. You can also use it on your lips - however, I've found that it dries out my lips and they get a bit sore :o( The colour is nice, though - pinkish tint. It looks very natural on if you blend it right."

A bad review: "The color and scent of this product are great. However, the consistency is way too thin. It is really hard to get it on my lips without it dripping onto the surrounding skin. It is also very sheer on the lips, which means you have to keep trying to apply more. As a cheek stain, I had the same issue--really hard to blend without it dripping all over, and it dries quickly, so you can get really messy really fast. If the product came with a different type of applicator and were a little thicker, it might be great, but as-is, this is just not a workable product."

"Pros:

+ easy to use, lasts a long time, natural healthy look, smells nice
+ lovely, natural, rosy stain for cheeks and lips; can be layered for desired intensity
+ Sheer, pretty color, easy application and SPF 15.
+ Wonderful "un-makeup-y" texture, wonderful look, nice scent.
+ Provides a natural flush with little effort, a little dab goes a long way.

Cons:

+ Too expensive, too difficult to apply, not a time-saver
+ Not "natural" looking on women of color; too expensive!
+ application can be tricky (until you get the hang of it), stains fingers
+ Stains anything that it comes into contact with.
+ expensive; probably best for normal skin; staying power on lips could be better"

They're hit and miss. The foundations are pretty good but I would stay away from the yellow, peach & pink concealers. The eyeshadows are decent but the pencils tend to smear. There are better mascara options for your $. The lipsticks are pretty good and the blushes are great!

BeneTint is good as a lip stain although it doesn't go on or wear as evenly as Vincent Longo's Lip & Cheek Gel Stain. It is a good cheek stain IF your skin is even, not so good if you have large pores or blemishes.

yes,but pricey!You can get cheaper benetint on ebay ,than over the counter.
