This question is for current and former Starbucks employees.

I already picked up an application, filled it out, and now I just need to turn it in. Do I go in and ask to see the manager, hand it to the girl at the counter, or what? What's the best way to turn it in?

Ask to see the manager because if you see the manager you might get a on the spot interview. Or at least you would be making your first impression. Dress nice, have a good attitude and be confident.

Don't ever just turn in an application to whoeer is behind the counter. Always ask to speak to the manager. This shows him/her that you are honestly interested, and have some drive. They may actually interview you on the spot, or set up an interview for a later date.

Ask for the manager, and pass it to him/her. But of the manager is busy you may not get the interview on the spot. still, dress smart in cae you do ;)

Or you can turn up for Starbucks recruitment day (for Singapore its every last Sat of the month, not sure about the other countries tho). A manager will interview you on that day.

GOOD LUCK! Hope you get in and love your job at Starbucks. I know I love mine =)

You should dress for the interview and ask if the manager is in. He/she may interview you on the spot.

I hear they require you to be able to dance and sing now, being that they are chock full of aspiring actors?

LOL...
