Because they don't want to pay taxes or be held responsible for their actions. They just want to come here make American wadges and send the money that should go back into the economy to Mexico where their families can live pretty well for really cheap...

They are the largest group of foreigners and their legal status is being questioned with potential negative implications under the bill (in the making) you mention. It is important to know they represent a significant labor force that serves the USA economy well (even if they are illegal - a few million of them) performing jobs most people in USA do not like, for instance, cleaning the Katrina mess in New Orleans. Also they represent a market with purchasing power. We should try to understand their issues from an economic and social point of view. The answer to their situation is not in the politics of the parties or their leaders. The answer is not in a blank amnesty, taller border fences, nor in persecuting them like animals. The answer should be a well managed and secured immigration reform that allows these people to serve this country, and pay taxes, while at the same time putting and end to illegal immigration

Well, here in the south, they are almost all illegal. They swim across, run across or pay a "coyote" to get them over here. They bring crime, poverty and desease. They live off the goverment, getting paid medical, wellfare, food stamps etc. America is awesome because they get everything they want off of our tax dollars. They don't pay taxes and it's becoming a huge strain on the economy. They are the only ones making a big deal about the bill becuase very rarely do other cultures come here illegally. Mexicans come in mass numbers. They think they should be able to as well and see nothing wrong with it. That we as americans wouldn't be able to "go a day without a mexican" because they "do the job no one else wants". They are all about as useful as a tit on a bull. AZ recently passed a law to have immigrants deported and charged as a felony for being here illegally, and it also cracks down on employers who hire illegals. I voted for this to pass and I hope it works. I have no problem with Mexican immigrants who come over legally. At least I'm not paying for them to live here.

Actually, American Latinos are upset about Illegal Migration. The media has done a great job at finding locations where there is a protest causing most to believe that it is really wide spread throughout the Latino population. However, my opinion is the majority are against it. I wish the Republicans weren't so concerned about losing votes today, it sounds like the media has even corrupted their thinking on this!

because of the interrelation between Mexico and U.S. centuries of history, bad deals, cooperation, brotherhood, illegal land purchases, and the fact that economic leadership (of both countries) is focused on benefiting US companies or mexican politicians. now poor workers are being labeled terrorist just because they want to come and work. because all the jobs were taken to China and the little $ there is is taken out of the country by US copanies. The US started this problem by using Imperialism exploiting third world countries and taking all the goods and leaving coutries dry. the govrment supports who is sharing power and $$ with them greed is the root of all evil. until they change their politics ther would be this kind of problems
