Whats' the type of music called that you hear in the coolest bars?

It's kind of a Funky Jazz sound, sometimes with a cool beat. Do you know what I mean, what's the name for it so I can buy the CDs?

the sort of thing you want could be 'trip hop' or 'acid jazz' for example.....cafe del mar CDs might be a good place to start seeing bands you like...or buy the new zero 7 album - sounds great for what you are after
