V3i on orange, racoon tarrif, seems ok for me.
sorry, just re-read the Q.
I picked the V3i coz I liked the retro look of the keypad and as long as it can make a call, the other functions are not that important to me, but it is a good phone, I've dropped it loads of times and there's hardly a scratch on it, plus the battery lasts for ages and the camera isn't too bad either, the ringtone volume is the only downside I would say as it's not very loud.

I have a Samsung phone. I have this because my only requirements are it being small and light and they do the smallest lightest phones. The software isn't great and if Nokia did phones this size then I would probably choose that one.

Nokia N91 - 4Gb USB Mass storage device (none of that fiddling with MMC/smart card nonsense) for storing music, vids or any PC files you want to take from one place to another, WIFI internet connectivity allows me to piggy back of any wireless hot-spot and use internet services (rather than pay networks for GPRS/3G access): WAP, HTTP, FTP, VPN, remote control my home PC etc etc etc..., Better sound quality than iPod for mp3/digital music playback (and has standard stereo jack output). There's nothing else even close to it yet.

I have a Sagem My-X 4 and I bought it because it was cheap, and I needed a new one. I barely use my phone as it is, so a cheap one was ideal.
